June 5, 2016:- On Friday 3 June, 2016, Senator the Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon, Minister of Trade and Industry received a courtesy call from His Excellency John L. Estrada, Ambassador of the United States of America to Trinidad and Tobago.
The meeting include very cordial discussions on the trade relations between both countries. The Trade Minister stated ‘we need our goods to go beyond the CARICOM Region and into the US and Latin America’. The benefits of Tamana InTech Park were showcased by the Minister, and she outlined the Government’s focus on the maritime, agriculture and financial services sectors. The cordial working relationship with AmChamTT was also highlighted.
