September 10th 2019: The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has successfully implemented a cloud-based solution to support Trinidad and Tobago’s online trade platform TTBizLink. According to the Minister of Trade and Industry, Senator the Honourable Paula Gopee-Scoon “This is a significant accomplishment and the first of its kind for an enterprise-wide solution by the Government. We are heartened that the use of digital technology which is already integrated into our daily lives is now being embraced within the public sector.” The initiative will impact MTI’s online environment for trade and business facilitation, TTBizLink while members of the public, the business community and various government departments also stand to benefit from the upgrade.
